BUSH BUDDIES
The Chitek Lake Bush Buddies consists of approximately 20 club members from Chitek Lake and other areas. We work to maintain 180 km of snowmobile trails in our area. We are part of the Trans Canada snowmobile trail syastem. Our club has raised funds to purchase a groomer and drag, and continue to raise funds for maintenance. We also support local and provincial charities. We have an annual snowmobile rally on the 3rd Saturday in February. For more information on snowmobile trails in our area , check out the link below.

CHITEK LAKE FRIENDSHIP CLUB
ALL LADIES OF ANY AGE ARE WELCOME.
The Friendship Club are involved in many social activities in the
community. They host functions throughout the year

The Club also caters for auctions, fish derbys and they assist with lunches for funerals.
One of the goals for this club this year was to build on to the Community Hall kitchen and equip with dishwasher. They helped put on numerous fundraising functions throughout this year to raise funds for this project. The project has also recieved the Canada 150 Grant for Western Economic Diversication Canada in the amount of $43,200.00.
